Buy accutane without prescription, Can you stand two pattern reviews in a row? This one is worth it, I promise! I made this dress 3 years ago to wear at a municipality event. I recieved the pattern in a lot purchased off of Ebay and it has continued to be one of my favourites. What do you think?
The bow on the front was a little too cutsey for my liking, but let me list what I absolutely love about this pattern, and why, in my opinion vintage patterns have it all over modern ones.
1. Fit- the fit was spot on. Now it was designed for a woven and I used a wool doubleknit, cheap accutane from usa, Order discount accutane online, but it all fit- shoulders, bust, discount accutane overnight delivery, Discount accutane no rx, waist- even the hips.
2. Side zipper. Say what you will, order accutane online, Find accutane without prescription, but I like the cleanliness of a side zip.
3. Back vent- well designed and the proper depth to hang cleanly, buy no rx accutane. Cheap accutane on internet, 4. Elbow darts- three of them. Swoonnnn, buy accutane without prescription.
5. Darts- Six, buy generic accutane, Accutane in us, count 'em SIX well placed darts.
6, find accutane online. Buy accutane once daily, The front bust seaming is so cleverly done. I'll explain later...
So why do vintage patterns work well for me? Look at the latest offerings of BurdaStyle. I'm sorry all of you who bow down at the feet of Burda, free accutane, Purchase accutane no rx, but all I have seen lately are shapeless boxes for dresses, shirts and skirts, find cheap accutane, Buy accutane low price, with very little in the way of design. Vintage patterns have darts, interesting seaming, cheap accutane from uk, Accutane no online prescription, and details that are not often offered in modern patterns. Now not to say ALL vintage patterns are wonderful, nor are ALL modern patterns boring...I do imagine that the vintage patterns that have stood the test of time are ones that are a little different.
"Oh, cheapest accutane, Buy discount accutane, do shut up Connie and show and tell the dress!"
Fiy-yine!
Mc Call's 4746 - A Pattern Review
I suppose that you have blathered on enough about the pattern- right? Yes, I suppose that I have. Would you say circa 1957 or so? I don't think the 60's, accutane malaysia, Pharmacy accutane, but I also don't think too early in the 50's. I am sooooo not a good judge of pattern dates and would love a second opinion. Buy accutane without prescription, The dress came as a size 10 and fit perfectly.
Fabric? Does it call to be lined/did you line it? I used a cranberry coloured wool doubleknit- gorg stuff that I got who knows where! I may have picked it up at Mood in NYC on my first fabric trip there. I know it wasn't a local purchase. I doesn't call for lining but does require a slip and, accutane bangkok, Find no rx accutane, as a local dressshop loves to say to me, "you need to wear Proper Foundation Garments with this" . Sheesh, accutane from india, Order accutane, I KNOW that I've carried and borne five children. You don't have to rub it in like that.
Did you run into any snags during the sewing process? Nary a one. I was excited to try the darting and gathering at the bust area. The darts went in as planned, buying accutane, Accutane without a prescription, the sleeves fit like a dream. I did omit the bow at the front and just made a wide loop instead. I thought that perhaps it looked a titch staid when it was done, and spent an evening in front of the tv adding small bugle beads to the back collar area.
What does this dress inspire you to try? I reallllly want to try to replicte the bodice in a tee or workout top. I think it would be absolutely amazing! I'm trying to think of a way to describe the pattern piece for the bodice. The front was cut in one piece, accutane buy, Order accutane cheap online, with a much wider area above that bust side dart. You then cut into the dart, gathered the upper section and attached it back to lower section, order accutane overnight delivery, Accutane generic, after sewing the front waist darts. Clear as mud??.

I think the elbow darts need to find their way into more designs as well!
Any change-ups for the next time? The neckline is faced. Silly, cheap generic accutane. Accutane uk, I did the facing, but would omit it next time. Perhaps an inch or two shorter would not be a bad thing either, cheap accutane. Order accutane from canada, Pictures say a thousand words. Photo's please! Okay Dokey.

I've entered the dress in the PatternReview Natural Fabrics Contest at the American Sewing Expo in Novi, MI. I'll be going anyways. I've offered to help Deepika at the PR booth, buy accutane online cheap, Buy accutane online, and will be finally meeting someone that I have been dying to get to know Face to Face, instead of being "virtual friends". Excited! I'm even missing a day of our local fair for it, and I NEVER miss a day of the fair!

What a fabulous dress! The bust seaming, neckline and elbow darts are so elegant.
Stunning…simply stunning…and I love the bugle beads added to the back of the neckline.
Absolutely gorgeous, Connie. Love everything about it but especially the detail on the front.
It’s gorgeous!!! I love it. I can’t wait to try my first vintage pattern.
That dress is amazing. Please post a photo of it on you. The bust shaping is beautiful. Your fabric choice shows all the dressmaker details to perfection. I think the pattern might be as late as 1960. My mom, who was very fashion-conscious, wore her hair like the pattern drawing c.1960-62.
