When Claire left a cryptic message to me that ran like this...
" Buy zoloft without prescription, Connie, I think I'm going to be close to your area next week as we are vacationing in Toronto"
I immediately knew that her fingers were hovering over the keyboard saying...
"Come and meet me and we can add to our fabric collection together, cheap zoloft in canada, Zoloft australia, just like we did in Montreal last month!"
So like any good friend, (we have been email and conference planning friends for about a year, zoloft canada, Zoloft approved, and face to face friends for a couple of months!) I immediately cleared my schedule, emailed her back and said
"Want me to meet you and we can spend the day shopping?"
Aren't I a good friend?!
In order to make our date complete, best price zoloft, Order zoloft no prescription, we invited Sue and Reethi to meet us too. They could only meet us for lunch, but it didn't take much arm twisting for them to tag along for a little while, discount zoloft without prescription. Buy zoloft online without prescription,

Here's how our day went.
++++++++
Claire streetcar'd and subway'd from where she was staying, cheap zoloft no prescription. Where to order zoloft, It's not a difficult task all you "but I have never been on a streetcar/bus/subway in my life" people. I can do it and I live on a farm for God's sake. Put it on your list of things you need to learn how to do, buy zoloft without prescription.
I drove from London-ish and somehow managed to miss most of the traffic tangles that occur when everyone in Toronto trades places for the day. Parking is not difficult- there is on street meter parking on Queen West and a few parking lots as well. I parked in a lot for $ 12 for the day which meant that I didn't have to worry about feeding the hungry meter, buying generic zoloft. No prescription zoloft,
We met as planned at King Textiles (445 Richmond St W, Toronto) at 9.30. Unfortunately, cheap zoloft in uk, Buy generic zoloft online, although the store is advertised as being open at 9, it really opens at 10! So we wandered down to the "thimble" and took some photos.
The thimble is Toronto's version of New York's button and needle and "man at sewing machine", generic zoloft online. Tablet zoloft, A coffee later, we began our trek up one side of Queen West and down the other, zoloft rx. Buy zoloft us, This is by no means an exhaustive list of stores, but will give you an idea of what is available there, no rx zoloft. Buy zoloft without prescription, Starting at the northwest corner of Queen W and Spadina, we headed west where the first fabric store you enter is Leo's Textiles (400 Queen St. Find discount zoloft, W) It's a clean, well laid out store with a lot of lace and specialty fabrics as well as staples.
We passed on the bridal supply stores, zoloft in malaysia, Online pharmacy zoloft, but I can tell you from experience -much experience. -that they are chock full of appliqués, buy zoloft from us, Zoloft no rx, tulling, netting, best price for zoloft, Zoloft non prescription, veils and other items of importance for making a bride look beautiful. You will also pass by- or enter- a bead shop and, on a side street, zoloft pill, Buy zoloft canada, a leather/elastic/button store. Leather And Sewing Supply Depot Here Claire found some belting and hardware, while I grabbed some three inch wide elastic, zoloft india. Zoloft online review, It's easy to miss so here is what the store sign looks like...
For those of you who love fine wool fabric you can’t miss The Wool House and Archie Fine and Son Ltd(424 Queen W) They both have an amazing offering of wools and both have cut lengths that you can buy for a small discount, discount zoloft online.
Home Decor fans will not walk past Eurofab! It is small, but the variety of fabrics is amazing, and gorgeous to boot, buy zoloft without prescription. Zoloft side effects,
As we had both been in Downtown Fabrics (436 Queen W) before, we knew what we were in for before we entered the store. The owner - Daniel- knows a sap, zoloft online cheap, Order cheap zoloft online, can read you like a book, is always eager to show you his beauties and loves to drape customers in fabric in order to intice them to buy. Luckily for him I was in a buying mood and left the store with some grey bamboo knit and some (he said Italian) knits. That day he was offering customers 3 free yards of fabric if they could identify a certain type, lowest price for zoloft. Zoloft cheap drug, We both guessed incorrectly – it was ramie and I guessed a silk/bamboo blend. For my Monteal PR friends, he said that a lady from North Bay knew it right away. That HAD to be Kathryn Brenne, lowest price zoloft, Zoloft prices, as I spied - and both Sue and I picked up- the black/white stripe knit she was wearing at the seminar.
At Chu Shing Textiles, (440 Queen W) the atmosphere is much more subdued but the fabric is also well organized and there is a lovely variety of fabrics. I was only going to buy some yellow jersey that I was certain matched a fabric at home, drug zoloft, Zoloft no prescription, but on the way out the door Claire and I spied some blue cotton nylon that was calling loudly. We both had the same idea for a use for this fabric, so a few metres made it into both of our shopping bags.
Another don’t miss store is Beena Textiles. (454 Queen W) This store is in a basement, and you need to actively search for what you want. We did spy some nice knits as well as some, um interesting things. When Mme Erica got married, this is where we got that fabulous flocked netting for the bridesmaids.
There are 3 or 4 bead stores in this stretch of Queen. I am trying like a sonofagun to stay away from this type of activity, but some of those beads were Very Inticing! Sue and Claire did not get away empty handed! Don't forget to look across the street here at the other two bead stores.
There is also an opportunity for knitters to add to their stash. Americo (456 Queen W) has incredible wools- (Merino, alpalca, cotton, silk) as well as home accessories, yardage and findings. Romni (658 Queen Street Wes) is a bit of a hike down the street, but well worth it for anyone who is an avid knitter, There is a huge array of wools, and the biggest book/pattern area I have ever seen in a knitting store.
Crossing the street and heading back towards Spadina, there are a few antique type shops. Take a gander in if you have a minute- we had a hoot snooping to see if we could find anything sewing related. Buy zoloft without prescription, There are also some sample stores here, and it’s fun to try on some interesting outfits.
Mokuba (575 Queen W) is a trim store to beat any trim store. Woven ribbon in every width and colour, grosgrain, pleated trims, fold over elastic, stretch trim…you name it, they have it, set out in row after row of immaculate displays. I didn’t pick anything up this time in- the cost per metre of the trim warrants me needing to know EXACTLY how much I need before I buy any.
The next couple of fabric stores you come across are the proverbial fire trap stores. Dead ends, bolts piled to the ceiling, digging for that elusive piece under and behind all the others, fabrics that you are certain have been there since your grandmother shopped on Queen W….There are bargains to be had if you are diligent. We both found some technical fabrics and I chose 2 lengths of striped, destined to be golf shirt knits. Affordable Textiles (531 Queen W) and World Sewing Centre and the names of those two stores.
L A Fabrics (495 Queen W) is my go-to bridal goods store. I have purchased silks and lace fabrics for dresses for the three of the fiveblondes who are married. You can find amazing special occasion fabrics here and in the back room are wools galore. There is even a collection of Liberty fabrics if you are a Liberty fan.
The last two stores on before you get back to Spadina are little hole in the wall stores where, if you know what you are looking for, have just the right interfacing, button or gadget. Don’t overlook them if you have the time.

Once you get to Spadina, turn right and bang into the guy who is waving around 10% discount cards for King Textiles. He has been there every single time I have been on that corner! King Textiles (on Richmond), while not on Queen W, is worth a visit. It is a large store, and while the fabric quality isn’t as high as some of the other stores, I would suggest you drop in. If you need pleating done, they advertise that service too.
So there you have it. A sewing enthusiasts five minute guide to fabric shopping on Queen Street West in Toronto. There are other places in T-dot to get some wonderful yardages, but they will have to wait for another time.
And, of course, the Friends shot! Four sewing and blogging friends who had never met person to person until two months ago!
Cheers.

It was so much fun! We need pics of your haul!
Photos taken as requested! I even cut into one piece today!
I ran into the King’s Textiles guy on my way out – I’ve never been! Must fix that. It was a blast, and I agree with Sue – we need pictures of the fabric! (Also, the parents aren’t back home yet, but I do know they managed to stop at Joann’s yesterday, so hopefully, they got all your patterns. Will know tonight, and will send you email.)
Cheers!
Thanks Reethi! And thanks to your parents too! Let me know what I owe you.
I need to spend some more time on Queen St – you did all that and you didn’t even take NOTES !
And thank goodness, cos even with all my notes, I forgot to write down where we picked up the blue nylon –
We’re all ready to go home, the car’s packed and we leave tomorrow. I’ll take the pics of the haul then and make a post – you’ve pretty much said it all though & I’m probably going to cheat a bit and link back to you.
And you know those 2 99K’s going home with me ? They turned into 3 !
I kept part of my mind on “blog note” mode, Claire! 3 machines!! Lucky you!
That was quite the whirlwind tour! I hope to visit Toronto someday (now that I’ve finally been to Canada I want to see the rest of it). I’ll have to return to your advice if I do.
Well, when you do get to Ontario, I hope you let me know! Maybe we can find you some more great cycling skirt fabric!
ah sorry to have missed you guys. that would have been fun. I was actually in Toronto on Saturday for whirlwind tour. Didn’t even have time to make it to the fabric district, but this overview will be so helpful for the next time!
Oh Alexandra that’s too bad! We would have loved having you along!
Wow – this is great! I have been looking for a comprehensive list of Queen St. sites for a year now – I am printing this out to take with me when I head to the Creativ Festival in October. Many, many thanks!
You’re very welcome- I hope it is of some help to you. Thanks for stopping by!
Connie, this is wonderful. I was in Toronto twice this summer, but, alas, just passing through. Next time, though, I’ll have your wonderful guide. I’ve already printed it out and stuck it in the Toronto file. Thanks for sharing it!
so jealous! It looks like you had a blast. I am jonesing for a fabric fix.
Thank you, Connie! I’ve always thought Toronto would have some kind of fabric concentrated area! Like hpsause above, I’m keeping this as reference material! Thanks!
Oh–you are all fabric addicts! Wish I had been there, a repeat of the fun in Montreal–sans showers.
Hello
