Buy imitrex nasal spray without prescription, I've been feeling under the weather for the last week and a half or so- achy, a stiff and sore neck, and that whole "I'm swimming slowly upstream in a fog"  aura, all the time.  I have so much organizing and sewing to do before next week, and all I want to do is sleep!  Don't feel sorry for me, I know this too shall pass.  It's just that I am never, ever sick, and I am a whiney poor-me type sicko. Buy cheap imitrex nasal spray online, I did manage to drag myself out of the slumps on Sunday to run my very first 5k race.  I've been training for a few weeks now, and was scared and excited to try a run.  I say "run", canadian imitrex nasal spray, Buy imitrex nasal spray from india, cause there was no "racing" about it!  BabyGirl Lauren, who just turned 20 this week, imitrex nasal spray professional, Imitrex nasal spray online cheap, decided the day before the run, to join me (thanks babygirl!) Great job! And don’t be discouraged – a few years ago I spent the entire 50-some minutes of a 10k being overtaken by thousands upon thousands of runners. It was pretty discouraging while it was happening, but I ended up with my best-ever time!

I’m finally able to run again, and I’m training for a 10k in about a month’s time to celebrate my 1 year anniversary from my bone marrow transplant. I’m way slower than I used to be, but you just have to accept that there will always be people faster than you. Always. So when people overtake me in my regular runs, I think “I bet he hasn’t had chemo”, or “I bet she’s never felt what low blood is like”, or even “yeah that guy can hassle me, but I don’t see HIM out here running!”, stuff like that. You could easily fill in “…had a baby” or whatever life experience you want. Everyone’s different, and if you stick with running, you really will start to “get it” and why we runners love it so much.

And if nothing else, you now have a Personal Best to beat next time. :D

Keep up the running . . . perhaps you will inspire me to lace up the running shoes again! Don’t worry about your speed (or lack thereof), just keep moving!

Aw Right! Good on ya! I never appreciated the finer points of running until my DD started to run track. You have much to be proud of.

I did not start running until I turned 35. I am now late 40′s and now addicted. It is both therapeutic and healthy. My first run, I carried my health insurance card, so that if I collapsed they could identify who I was, and who was my next of kin. Now, I am downright cranky if I cannot get out there or if I have to miss an allotted day. I do love/hate it.

I also run races for the food at the the end of the race.
:)

Keep at it. You too will become hypnotized!

Congratulations on completing the race! I am not a runner AT ALL but my boyfriend is so I’ve been trying it out. Still don’t like it. But I’ll keep trying. I ran a 5k once many many many years ago (before law school!) and I remember what a rush it was. The feeling, I mean. Not me. There were 8 years olds in that race and they were all faster than me.

A steady pace wins the race! I’m glad that you kept running. You should be proud of yourself. One thing about a race, it can be very discouraging to be passed by a large number of runners, but eventually you realize that you are running against your own time, not against another person. I think that this holds true for even the elite runners. Keep it up–consistency leads to improvement. Every finish is a win!

In running, it doesn’t matter whether you’re passed or passing – the best thing is that you’re doing it!

I remember one of my first 5k – I visually latched onto a woman who was going to walk it, thinking I should be able to pass her. Nope! Turns out she was an Olympic class race walker. Talk about humble pie! Now I try to make the runs about how I feel, and not anyone else. This is “you” time. Enjoy it to the fullest!

Good job! Can’t wait to see the dress from hell. I bought the pattern (V-1087?) but was turned off by Gorgeous Things’ comments. Have fun in Montreal.

I managed to run 10 k’s once…and I just realised that was at least 20 years ago.OMG time flies. Congratulations !!

Annette June 13, 2010 at 7:49 pm

Nice job, Connie. I admire you for even giving it a try, much less when you’re ill. Congratulations on being #1 as you finished.

Audrey June 14, 2010 at 12:03 pm

Congratulations on finishing the race! I admire you so much for just entering the race. Something I have never had the courage to do. I find running is a sure fire way to lose weight, but I can’t say I enjoy it.

Is the dress from hell Vogue 1087? If it is I know how you feel. I made this dress. It took a while to figure out how to put it together , but I did it eventually.

Summerset June 14, 2010 at 1:48 pm

Congrats on finishing your race! I ran a 5K a few weeks ago, and I wasn’t the fastest, but I did finish before the slowest runners and the walkers and I didn’t stop to walk at all. I did pretty good for me, considering I’m not built for speed. Power, yes, speed, no! Good luck with the dress!

Connie June 16, 2010 at 7:23 am

That’s the dress Audrey. Yours was gorgeous!
