On Pattern Review this week, I “met” a woman who wanted to obtain a December copy of the Burda magazine. She is fairly new to Pattern Review, and I offered to pick up one for her and mail it to her. No big deal- I was picking one up for myself as well. We exchanged names, addresses and phone numbers, and thought that was that.
Today I was getting her package ready- the magazine and a little something else that I wanted to give her. My husband happened to see me addressing the package, and commented that he had met a woman by that same name the week before through business. He thought it had to be the same person.
I thought that was WAYYYY to much of a coincidence- how could a person I had never even heard of before happening to “talk” with on an international website, with the only connection being that we both sewed and she lives in the same province, be the same person that my husband met in person 10 days ago. We live about 150 kilometers away from each other for goodness sakes!
Well, he looked her up on his agenda, and when we googled her company’s name, we realized that they had to be one and the same!
I called her up, and spoke with her husband, who laughed and confirmed that it was indeed the same person.
Now tell me- (eerie music playing) – how weird is that!
In case you thought I was lost, by the way, I am slowly making my way back to the blogging world! Sometimes life gets too big and too busy, my mind gets too full, and creative endeavours get railroaded.
This is how behind I apparently am.
I have yet to review this Jalie pattern for Mme Kate who was 6 months pregnant here…
and this Jalie Pattern for her- at almost 8 months here!
They are on the draftboard for this week!

re – the mag…Wow ! Way too eerie !
Love your daughter’s tops – I’ve got one Jalie top pattern but haven’t tried it yet.
It surely is a small world!
You’re daughter is too cute!! She’s all baby and not an ounce of fat. I’m cracking up at the 6 month picture; I looked like that at 6 weeks, and I’m not kidding!!!!
But how did the time go by so fast? I swear you just told us she was pregnant.
Very strange! Wow – the time has flown – has it been that long since you announced she was pregnant?
Hi Connie.- super new blos, I love. My best wishes to you and yours in the Christmas holidays. Hugs, Paco
Oh my gosh! That is so weird in a good way. I just can’t believe how time has flown too. That baby is going to be here very soon.
