I’ve looked everywhere. It seems my life has disappeared. No time to think, no time to write, most importantly – NO TIME TO SEW. My entire personal, volunteer, and work worlds have completely collided to the point that I quite honestly feel like a chicken with its head cut off. Do you ever find yourself ready for tears for no real apparent reason too?
Time for some square breathing! This too will pass.
I promise, promise a bride/bridesmaid/MOB update as soon as my life is in order!! This was just a “coming up for air”, “letting you all know I am alive and kicking” kinda post!

Good to hear from you, sorry to hear your life is like that at the moment. Best wishes, it will pass. Sigrid
This morning, I was thinking ,”I wonder how Connie is doing on her wedding dresses.” It’s good to hear from you. Come up for air again, soon.
I hear you – I’ve been there myself in the past. Sounds like you need to schedule a Saturday afternoon just for you – sew, shop, go to the spa, do something selfish and indulgent.
Connie…be good to yourself today
So good to hear from you, even if it is just a breather
I’m counting on my life to cycle through soon- right now I’m on the “mommy-stressed, no-sew” cycle. Hopefully by the end of spring I’ll be back on the “sewing-my-brains-out” cycle

I sooo understand. Do the breathing, put on a smiley face, and life WILL come back, eventually. Good to hear from you though

glad to hear you’re still kicking! Can’t wait for the update. DD won’t allow me to make her prom dress so I’m living vicariously thru you! HA! Oh, she DID consent to allow me to make her purse/clutch, Yippee!!
Deep breath, Connie. It sounds like everything has hit at one time, and that’s never fun. Get yourself to a quiet corner for a few minutes, close your eyes, and imagine yourself . . . in Metro Textiles, surrounded by friends, rummaging through beautiful fabric that you’ll soon find time to sew.
You’ve been missed – glad to hear that you’re mostly okay.
Come back soon:-)
Glad to see you back on line. We all get overwhelmed now and again. As a beginner sewer, I really enjoy your projects.
I just came out of one of those periods. Hang in there!
Oh…I completely understand. Take time to breathe as life gives you those unbelieveable busy moments.
