pictures not working! fix them puhleeeze!
Mic my darling- they were probably not working because I was still editing. Be patient little grasshopper. And shouldn’t you be working?
So here’s the thing. Yes, there’s a thing – ok, many things.
1. You need to resize the images BEFORE uploading them. O.M.G! I DO! honest.
2. Upload them locally. By this I mean upload them here rather than to picasa or whatever crappy system you have going on. USE the server space I am paying for! hey wait – I can do that??!! um..how
3. Carriage returns? Ever heard of them? Like the “Enter” key? Wait I am going to look that up – OMGoodness- SHIFT ENTER !! I did not know that!
Jeez. Give me your google password. The same as for this site but double it- frinstance instead of erica, it would be ericaerica
You know- sometimes our comments are more hilarious than life itself!
“we have seen sooo many plays and orchestra productions in the last month”
Am I EVER jealous!!!
Glad you two had a wonderful time!!
Rhonda in Montreal
What I meant in #1 is resize them to a SANE size before even putting them on the intertubes. Like in Paint Shop.
(1) take pics
(2) upload pics to computer
(3) RESIZE
(4) upload to intertubes.
and yes, our comments are funny but I think people think we are crazy. Rightfully so.
Gotcha, Connie, about Mike and NYC. In fact, my DH hates the city too and will only go if I drag him in. So most of the time I leave him at home. It’s more fun that way!
It must be a generational thing! Your girls posts sound exactly like something my girls would write! And BTW you’re far more computer savvy than me, I would drive your girls nuts with my ignorance, and WTH is an intertube? See what I mean?
Rhonda- you need to come visit me! I would take you to see wonderful plays at the Stratford Festival.
Lindsay- I will leave him behind to come visit you!
Laura- The intertube is Erica’s way of saying the internet- we call it the interweb at times too! (um – at least I think that’s what she means!)
LOL, I have been known to call my 14yo DS over to tell me how to do something. A friend I know waited without the internet for the day because she got an error message to reset the modem. Her 14yo fixed it in about 5 seconds – turned it off then on, one-handed. The only consoling thought is that one day our grandchildren will be rooling their eyes at their parents too, lol.
Oops! Rolling their eyes! Typos….
“Rhonda- you need to come visit me! I would take you to see wonderful plays at the Stratford Festival.”
What a WONDERFUL thought!!! As much as I LOVE theatre, I would enjoy visiting with Y-O-U the mostest!!
Soft hug,
