Hi Couturesmith fans,

I don’t know if there’s a ‘birthday list’ on Patternreview or if there are celebrations being held in her honor there, but it’s Connie’s birthday today. She’s 29 - again!

I love this picture of her because it’s very ‘mom’. I saw it for the first time today after Kate uploaded it to Facebook (Kate and Lauren are staring creepily over dad’s shoulder) and I thought it was just lovely! Mom is in her element (and probably tipsy, too!) and dad’s face says ‘Yup, she’s a little strange sometimes, but she’s mine!’

I have an ulterior motive, too. Five Blondes was nominated for a ‘Best New Blog‘ award and we are finalists. We’re already way behind in the voting (mainly because we didn’t hear that we were finalists until a week after voting started - how fair is that??!?) and we would love your support.
